Void Putters is a golf equipment brand with patented technology and an in-house manufacturing team who mills all their putters here in the US. Up against long-standing brands with expensive professional sponsorships, their task was to somehow convince golfers to spend $300+ on a putter they've never had the chance to try. Compelling Ads + Klaviyo Flows

Void's putters don't just look great, they also utilize patented technology which gives them a huge technological differentiator. We asked ourselves, how could we effectively illustrate this in a simple yet convincing ad?

 

We chose a tried-and-true ad schema, a "comparison ad", and it exceeded all expectations (See "Image A" for ad creative example).  By showcasing Void's technological advantage in an obvious, compelling, and simple way, users took the opportunity to click, learn more, and convert.

 

Yet even with GREAT ad creatives, we foresaw one major issue. Putters can exceed $300 or even $600 after customizations...impulse purchases were going to be few and far between. So how could we re-engage those who clicked on the ad, perhaps added to cart, but then abandoned their search of Void? Our answer? Klaviyo email flows. 

 

PQC installed a compelling website popup urging site visitors to subscribe to email marketing. With over 10% of site visitors opting in, PQC then re-engaged them with a mix of brand building, urgency, and educational email flows that for little cost, captured tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue per month.
